Right after the turn of the decade, Cosmic Gate return to the compilation game with the fourth installment of their ongoing compilation series Back 2 Back.
The mixing of this album was just the right start for 2010, after a highly prolific, successful and quite busy year 2009 for the two guys from Cosmic Gate. The duo not only released their fourth artist album Sign Of The Times, four singles and a bunch of remixes for the likes of Armin van Buuren, John O'Callaghan and Paul van Dyk, but also were highly rewarded by their fans. The DJ Mag Top 100 DJs poll, the most important DJ list, saw them on place 19, which also made them highest climber!

Like its predecessor, 'Back 2 Back 4' will be a two CD compilation released through Black Hole Recordings showcasing some of the most upfront tunes available today with unreleased edits and brand new material.

Highlight amongst others is the new Cosmic Gate single ,Barra', dedicated to the pretty part of Rio de Janeiro where the album was arranged and mixed. You will surely feel the vibrating energy of the Brazilian lifestyle in it!

Build like a set by Cosmic Gate, of which they played over a hundred in the last 12 month, the first CD features the more relaxed and progressive side of today's trance music, getting you on the way. The second CD forces the pace and showcases the euphoria and techy aspect of Cosmic Gate's beats. 28 tracks, from housy to uplifting, give the listener an idea of how it feels to be in front of the DJ booth with Nic and Bossi heating up the crowd.
