Concluding Cosmic Gate's years 1 - 4 remix single run, Alexander Popov and Duderstadt are artists tasked with bringing new angles and soundscapes to 'Raging'.
Alexander Popov opts for an overtly pumping & pulse-quickening rework. Releasing 'Raging's inner uplift, the Russian brings in tough beats & percussion patterns and evocative minor melodies, along with some rippling lead-synth horsepower to give his overhaul plenty of peak-time, main set appeal.
In the hands of the brothers Duderstadt the track loses not an ounce of its beguiling, hypnotizing power. The German duo take 'Raging' on a pulsating, immersive, deep-thru-melodic trance transition, working Jan Johnston's lament-laden tones into every corner of the remix.
This may be the conclusion to the singles series but there's still more to come. Next month will see the release of the full 'Back 2 The Future' album, which will include additional mixes from John O'Callaghan, Daniel Kandi, Arnej, Cold Blue, Estiva and yet more besides.
